Wood Type card set

The collection of seven 4 x 7.5 inch cards comes in a mylar enclosure. Out of an edition of seventy-five sets, sixty-five are available for purchase.

Above are slides taken as the Wood Type Sampler title cards were press numbered for the edition of seventy-five. After printing the colophon (text below) and the phrase "__ of 75" in blue ink, we individually printed each number of the edition in red. The wood type is 15 line French Antique.

COLOPHON: Wood Type Sampler specimens were produced by students & staff at Silver Buckle Press, University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries. Over one hundred of each card were printed (numbers varied) and the extras were given to press visitors. Seventy-five complete sets of six type specimens plus the title card were made. Kathleen O' Connell, Melissa Cooke, Dennis Peterson, & Narirat Sarah Noreen, directed by Tracy Honn, worked on the project.
