Printed to commemorate the Silver Buckle Press's 25th year at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The book displays over eighty catalogued wood type fonts, ranging in size from three to forty picas, with decorative wood ornaments interspersed throughout. An introduction by Rob Roy Kelly relates his experiences of collecting and researching wood type for his book American Wood Type, 1828-1900. Also included is a foreword by Stephen O. Saxe on type specimen books and their uses.
